The HSE Officer ensures that all field and engineering teams comply with Qatar Energy’s HSE protocols throughout OT project execution. The role requires direct engagement in safety training, risk assessments, audits, and incident prevention across project locations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead site-level HSE compliance activities and inspections.
Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency drills.
Liaise with HSE leads from Qatar Energy and Honeywell.
Competences, Skills, Experience
8+ years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas (onshore/offshore).
Strong understanding of OT project safety procedures.
Proactive in enforcing safety protocols and incident mitigation.
Education, Academic Qualification, Certifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
Certifications:
NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, Offshore HSE certificates (mandatory).
Language and Other Selection Criteria
Excellent English communication.
Offshore-readiness with valid HSE and survival certifications.
