About HSE Officer:

Responsible for compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety, and Environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out daily and weekly inspections to ensure compliance with all HSE requirements.

Preparation of job hazard analysis process.

Ensuring total compliance with all safety, health, environment, and firefighting programs by providing guidance and assistance to all personnel working in the project.

Monitoring all vehicles with IVMS tracking system for traffic violations.

Compile and correlate HSE statistical data required for the safety department.

Implement corrective actions, incident investigation, and constructing mitigation procedures.

Monitor and maintain good housekeeping and ensure the wastes are segregated and disposed of properly.

Conducting motivational safety campaigns.

Preparation of periodic HSE reports and maintain and follow up on corrective action registers for early close out.

Participate in client inspections/visits, third-party surveys, etc.

Providing Toolbox talks.

Supporting the Project team for audits.

Other relevant duties as assigned by the department manager.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.

Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 14001, or equivalent in HSE-related fields (preferred).

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing, construction, or oil & gas industries.

Knowledge of IVMS.

Knowledge of local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.

Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and accident investigations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
