We are looking for a professional and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our transport company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers efficiently and safely to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and scheduled routes to ensure timely and reliable transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a company bus on assigned routes and schedules.
Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Assist passengers as needed, including those with special mobility requirements.
Communicate with the dispatch team regarding route changes, delays, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions.
Keep the bus clean and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Complete daily reports, logs, and incident records as required.
Provide excellent customer service and handle passenger inquiries professionally.
Requirements:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
Proven experience as a bus driver, preferably in a transport or logistics company.
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight routes.
Physically fit to handle routine vehicle inspections and assist passengers when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in public transportation, staff shuttle, or charter services.
First Aid and CPR certification.
Familiarity with GPS and digital dispatch systems.
