HSE Manager – Qatar
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is a major contractor operating internationally and in the Middle East. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an HSE Manager to join their team in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading the development, review, implementation, and overall governance of the HSE Management System, including policies, procedures, training and audits
Establishing and implementing an effective management system to ensure all services provided are performed according to the HSE governance and international standards, and monitor compliance
Leading the investigations of accidents and incidents to include immediate, underlying and root causes accompanied by an appropriate remedial action plan
Developing and delivering health, safety, environment, and wellbeing strategies for the company
Managing and improving the HSE Management System in accordance with ISO 45001 and 14001
Conducting risk assessments and reviewing the prepared risk assessments
PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Quality Management, or Safety Management, with IEMA and NEBOSH certifications
10 years’ experience in the planning and management of HSE systems and activities within the railway sector
Active member of IOSH or IIRSM
Certified in ISO 45001, 14001, and/or 9001
Very strong technical knowledge of international standards for HSE
Excellentcommunicationand management skills
