The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to Health, Safety, Environment, Fire, and Security, aligning with corporate sustainability and risk management goals. This role is vital in protecting personnel, assets, and the environment through proactive planning, training, performance monitoring, and incident response.
Responsibilities include:
Health: Implement occupational health and wellness programs, ensure compliance with health regulations, oversee medical surveillance, conduct first aid and CPR training, investigate workplace illnesses, and manage hygiene protocols.
Safety: Develop and maintain safety management systems, lead risk assessments and incident investigations, promote a safety culture, and coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
Environmental Strategy: Align environmental initiatives with ESG goals, ensure compliance with environmental laws, monitor emissions, manage hazardous materials, and promote sustainability efforts.
Fire Safety: Lead fire prevention and protection activities, conduct hazard assessments, implement fire safety systems, and oversee fire drills and emergency readiness.
Security: Design and manage physical security protocols, handle incident responses, perform root cause analysis, utilize surveillance technology, and train personnel to uphold ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
Deep understanding of HSE regulations.
Proven stakeholder engagement and compliance skills.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and contractors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of modern safety and firefighting technologies.
