General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

Reviews the contract documents for each Construction Package in

respect

of OSHE requirements and procedures and advisesthe Construction Manager of any deficiency.

Reviews and advises the Project Director/Manager ononsite safety organizations and key personnel CVs as submitted bythe Contractors. Develops and implements OSHESystems. Continually improves OSHEimplementation across the project by providing direction andguidance to our client and assessing the effectiveness of the Management System and taking part in the annual review.

Performs

Risk Assessment

as deemed necessary.

Ensures all activities onsite comply with safetyprocedures in

respect

of the format signed off by the Safety Officer. Ensures OSHE Staff on site areadequate and reports to the Project Director in case of ashortfall. Ensure team members onsite follow safety procedures andreport to the Project Director in case of deficiency.

Participates in weekly meetings and monthly executivemeetings. Coordinates with other OSHE Managersto ensure that OSHE policy is implemented.

Participates with PM staff in reviewing and assessing the Closeout Report. Oversees and monitors the HSEperformance of the Contractor and CSC.Undertakes onsite monitoring of OSHEperformance. Leads HSE meetings on theproject. Cooperates with all parties involvedand ensures OSHE is a priority. Assists theCSC with the management of OSHE on the project.

Reports on HSE issues on behalf of the PMC asrequired. Informs themselves of the relevant

Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International andensures continued compliance with these requirements while employedby Hill. Performs other duties as assigned bythe line manager/supervisor. Qualifications Experience Knowledge and

Skills:

Bachelorsdegree in occupational safety & Health or Engineering orequivalent.  At least 15 years of experiencein the health and safety field. Minimum 5years of relevant work experience (as a manager or above) accompanied by an EHSrelated masters degree.

Or 6 years of relevant work experience (as a manager orabove) accompanied by an EHSrelated bachelors degree; or NEBOSHDiploma. Or a minimum of 7 years of relevantwork experience (as a manager or above) accompanied byPostSecondary EHS Qualification (NVQ level 4/5).In addition to the above qualifications Practitionersshall be OSHAD OSHMS Practitioner A Grade and lead auditorqualification& 45001 etc.  Excellentcommand of written and spoken English.

Uptodate knowledge of all issues relating to Safety Health and the Environment. Ability toprioritize coordinate and complete tasks to meetdeadlines. Ability to work effectively bothindependently and in a

team environment
