Full job description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified HSE Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in the UAE to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe work environment and promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and standards
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE laws, regulations, and international standards
- Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety monitoring
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
- Monitor safety performance and prepare HSE reports and KPIs
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
- Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure safe work practices
- Promote continuous improvement in health and safety awareness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field
- 3–5 years of HSE experience in UAE (mandatory)
- NEBOSH IGC certification (required)
- IOSH / OSHA certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Candidates available for immediate joining will be prioritized
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Risk assessment and hazard control expertise
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Pay: AED2,664.64 – AED10,982.01 per month
