A Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer with a SARS (Safety Approval and Registration System / Trakhees Safety Accreditation) card manages site safety, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance. Holding a valid SARS/Trakhees credential is mandatory for operating in special development zones in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- SARS Compliance: Enforce and maintain site safety rules that strictly match SARS and Trakhees regulatory standards.
- Site Inspections: Lead daily safety audits, hazard identifications, and risk assessments (HIRA) across high-rise or civil construction zones.
- Incident Response: Investigate accidents, near misses, and root causes, then document corrective actions.
- Safety Training: Run toolbox talks, inductions, and method statement reviews for workers and subcontractors.
- Authority Liaison: Coordinate with official inspectors and auditors during site safety reviews.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification: Valid SARS Card / Trakhees Approval is mandatory.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Occupational Health and Safety.
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of dedicated UAE site experience in construction or engineering.
- Knowledge: Deep familiarity with UAE safety laws, OHSAS/ISO frameworks, and permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
Pay: AED10,000.00 – AED15,000.00 per month
