Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure health and safety measures are implemented in the working environment.
Support staff in identifying environmental aspects and defining project objectives and targets.
Identify and evaluate unsafe environments and practices.
Determine root causes of safety and industrial hygiene issues.
Develop hazard control processes, methods, and programs.
Recommend solutions for areas needing improvement.
Advise on ways to control potential threats.
Monitor the implementation of safety plans and track safety systems using computer systems and spreadsheets.
Maintain and manage equipment and processes related to health and safety projects.
Suggest preventive methods such as recycling, waste disposal, and pollution control.
Collaborate with engineering staff, quality assurance, regulatory compliance specialists, and others.
Measure and audit the effectiveness of hazard control programs.
Prepare future safety plans based on past experiences and data.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and practices.
Authorities:
Approve work permits (PTW) for any area within the facility.
Stop work if safety requirements are compromised or if environmental impacts are identified.
Respond to governmental queries or requests and obtain necessary permits, such as from Modon.
Coordinate with governmental authorities in case of emergencies.
Access all CCTV systems across the facility.
