Job Description
Ensure All the staffs participated in the monthly Safe talks conducted at either branch or regional level and attendance records maintained.
Ensure the group approved PPEs are available to all the Field staff in all divisions in liaise with Procurement.
Convene monthly Safe Talks when required.
Implement group HS procedures.
Work on country annual Top Page to ensure that the HS objectives are achieved.
Work on country HS Leading performance indicators to achieve the yearly targets
Ensure the LOBs completed the risk assessments in all its tasks in Crystal .
Report the country HS KPI and associated figures in the Crystal KPI module
Conduct emergency mock drills once every six months.
Ensure the full managers in the affiliate conduct Leadership visits through LV app
Ensure HS induction training is conducted for all newcomers.
Communicate HS requirements time to time with all affiliate staff through emails, meetings, trainings,
Actively Participate in the HS regional online meetings and cascade the information among the team.
Ensure all incidents in the affiliate are reported in Crystal observing the KPI. conduct and document investigations of incidents, hazards and ensure follow up actions to prevent recurrence.
Conduct site inspections as viable ensuring that the group HS requirements followed by the employees in the field.
Qualifications
Degree / Diploma in science or Safety stream. NEBOSH or IOSH certificates preferable
Additional Information
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as Health and Safety officer in any company
