About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Transformation Consultant to support a six-month onsite engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening HR frameworks, optimizing people processes, supporting HR technology initiatives, and driving workforce planning and organizational development activities. This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders and experience working within the sports industry, ideally football.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, enhance, and maintain HR policy manuals to ensure alignment with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable labor legislation.
- Create and maintain HR compliance checklists to support governance and ensure adherence to established policies and standards.
- Lead business requirement gathering for HR systems and transformation initiatives while supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation planning.
- Assist with the implementation of HR systems, including SAP.
- Review and refine job descriptions while developing job evaluation methodologies, job titling, and leveling frameworks.
- Support organizational structure updates and workforce alignment initiatives in line with evolving business requirements.
- Conduct training needs assessments, develop annual learning plans, and support competency framework development and employee growth initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the HR strategy, including a three-year roadmap, strategic initiatives, and KPI frameworks.
- Design and enhance HR infrastructure, including service level agreements (SLAs), delegation of authority (DOA), value chains, processes, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain workforce planning tools, including workforce planning calculators and forecasting templates, while supporting manpower budgeting activities.
- Prepare workforce analytics, headcount reporting, HR templates, reporting packs, and supporting tools for business stakeholders.
- Support employee relations initiatives by promoting effective communication, addressing employee concerns, and fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Develop and update HR documentation, including policies and job descriptions, while providing HR subject matter expertise throughout interview and assessment processes when required.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience delivering HR transformation, workforce planning, or people consulting initiatives.
- Previous experience within the sports industry, preferably football, with a solid understanding of its operating environment and talent landscape.
- Strong knowledge of HR frameworks, including policies, competency models, job evaluation, and performance management.
- Experience using workforce analytics and reporting to support data-driven HR decision-making.
- Familiarity with HR system implementations and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Previous experience within the sports or football sector.
- Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English.
