Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Supervisor – Emiratization to support the organization’s Emiratization agenda through HR business partnering, employee relations, payroll administration, employee engagement, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities;
HR Business Partnering;
- Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees on Emiratization-related matters.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and employee development.
- Support business leaders in managing UAE National employees and fostering a positive work environment.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of HR initiatives and workforce localization programs.
- Support workforce planning and succession planning activities for UAE National talent.
Employee Relations & Engagement;
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for UAE National employees.
- Manage employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues in line with company policies and procedures.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention.
- Conduct regular employee follow-ups and recommend actions to improve the employee experience.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
Payroll & Benefits Administration;
- Support the administration and delivery of payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, employee data updates, and validations with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including medical insurance, allowances, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, leave entitlements, and HR policies.
- Ensure payroll and compensation records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
Emiratization Program Management;
- Support the implementation of the company’s Emiratization strategy and workforce localization initiatives.
- Monitor Emiratization targets and prepare progress reports for management.
- Track workforce metrics related to UAE National employees and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate Emiratization-related programs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Learning & Development;
- Coordinate development programs, mentorship initiatives, and career progression activities for UAE National employees.
- Support performance management processes and employee development discussions.
- Work with managers to identify training and growth opportunities.
- Monitor development plans and support long-term career planning initiatives.
Government Relations & Compliance;
- Coordinate with relevant government authorities and Emiratization entities regarding localization requirements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and Emiratization regulations.
- Maintain required records, documentation, and reports for audits and regulatory purposes.
- Monitor legislative updates and communicate changes to stakeholders.
HR Operations & Reporting;
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics related to Emiratization, payroll, and employee metrics.
- Support HR audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, including exposure to HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Payroll Administration, HR Operations, or Emiratization programs.
- Experience within the retail industry is preferred.
- Good knowledge of UAE labor laws, payroll practices, and Emiratization regulations.
- Experience supporting UAE National workforce initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong HR Business Partnering and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Good understanding of payroll administration and employee benefits processes.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
