Job Overview: As a Carpenter at Impact, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects according to specifications and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, counters, and molding.
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
Perform repairs and maintenance on wooden structures.
Follow safety and quality standards and regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, sanders).
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Good understanding of wood properties and other carpentry materials.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
Attention to detail and precision in work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
