Role Description
This is a full-time, office-based HR role in Dubai. We are looking for a modern, hands-on HR professional to own the full employee lifecycle — from compliant contracts and payroll verification to a workplace culture people enjoy. You will be the go-to person for everything people-related and work directly with the founders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and MOHRE regulations, including employee rights, working hours, leave entitlements, and end-of-service benefits
- Manage the wage system end-to-end, including WPS; review and verify monthly salary calculations, deductions, and commissions before processing
- Handle onboarding and offboarding: employment contracts, offer letters, visa and Emirates ID processing, medical insurance, and personnel files
- Maintain accurate HR records, leave accruals, and attendance tracking
- Design and run employee engagement activities, team events, recognition programs, and internal culture initiatives
- Develop and update HR policies, the employee handbook, and disciplinary procedures
- Support performance management: probation reviews, appraisals, and improvement plans
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations, grievances, and day-to-day queries
- Support recruitment: job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offers
Qualifications
- 3+ years HR experience in the UAE with solid working knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE processes, and WPS
- Strong understanding of payroll verification, salary structures, and commission-based pay (real estate experience a plus)
- Experience with visa processing and government portals (MOHRE, GDRFA, DHA)
- Presentable, professional, and people-oriented with excellent communication skills in English (Arabic a plus)
- Creative and proactive mindset for building company culture and employee activities
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; CIPD/SHRM a plus
