We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings for custom joinery projects, working closely with our design and production teams to ensure high-quality results. Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
Prepare accurate shop drawings for custom joinery projects, including cabinetry, doors, windows, and furniture.
Interpret architectural and design plans to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Specify appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for each project.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of drawings.
Revise drawings based on client feedback or project updates.
Conduct site visits to verify measurements and project specifications when necessary.
Maintain organized records of designs, specifications, and materials for future reference and quality control.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
Strong understanding of joinery production techniques, materials, and finishes.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and design plans accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
