Purpose of the Role:
Partner with the KSA Commercial leadership team to deliver the people agenda across Sales, Trade, Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Key Accounts and eCommerce. Act as the first point of HR contact for Commercial line managers, translating business priorities into practical HR solutions across talent, performance, engagement, workforce planning and employee relations, while ensuring full compliance with KSA labor regulations and Saudization requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
(1) Business Partnering
- Build trusted relationships with Commercial sales leadership and frontline managers across regions and channels.
- Understand the Commercial operating model, route to market structure and sales targets, and align HR support to commercial priorities.
- Provide coaching and advisory support to line managers on team performance, structure and people decisions.
- Support organization design reviews within the Commercial BU, including span of control, role clarity and structure changes, in coordination with the Head of HR.
(2) Talent and Performance
- Support the annual performance management cycle for the Commercial population, including goal setting, calibration and development planning
- Partner with the Talent Management COE on succession planning, high potential identification and development actions for critical Commercial roles
- Work with the Talent Acquisition COE to deliver Commercial hiring plans, ensuring all requisitions follow the approved TA governance and Delegation of Authority process
- Support onboarding and probation reviews for Commercial hires, with emphasis on frontline sales roles.
(3) Workforce Planning and Saudization
- Maintain accurate headcount, vacancy and attrition data for the Commercial BU and provide monthly reporting to the Head of HR.
- Monitor Nitaqat status and Saudization ratios for the Commercial population; flag risks proactively and support localization hiring plans.
- Ensure Iqama professions, contracts and MHRSD records are aligned with actual roles, working with HR Operations to close any compliance gaps.
- Support manpower budgeting and FTE versus outsource decisions in coordination with Finance and HR leadership.
(4) Employee Relations and Compliance
- Manage day to day employee relations cases within the Commercial BU, including grievances, disciplinary matters and investigations, in line with KSA Labor Law and company policy.
- Ensure consistent and documented application of policies across regions and depots.
- Support offboarding, end of service and separation processes, escalating sensitive cases appropriately.
(5) Engagement and Culture
- Drive participation in the annual Engagement Pulse Survey for the Commercial population and support leaders in building and executing action plans
- Champion recognition, wellbeing and communication initiatives across the field sales organization.
- Act as a visible HR presence in the field, conducting regular visits to regional sales offices and depots.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; HR certification (CIPD, SHRM or equivalent) preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR generalist or HRBP capacity, ideally supporting sales or commercial popular
- FMCG, food or retail industry experience strongly preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of KSA Labor Law, Nitaqat and MHRSD requirements.
- Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed frontline populations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic strongly preferred given the frontline population.
