Housekeeping Supervisor Jobs in Dubai at Enhance ODLS
What you will do:
Food Preparation & Cooking:
Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to the menu and hotel standards.
Prepare food ingredients, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and prepared in a timely manner.
Follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency in the presentation and quality of all dishes.
Ensure all dishes meet the standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Monitor and manage the inventory of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring that food is used efficiently and ingredients are fresh.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all dishes are consistently prepared to the hotel’s exact standards, including portion sizes, flavor, and appearance.
Regularly check and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Team Collaboration & Supervision:
Assist in leading and training junior chefs and kitchen assistants, guiding them in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.
Coordinate with other kitchen stations to ensure that all orders are completed efficiently and accurately.
Provide feedback to junior staff and assist in their development by teaching new techniques and improving their culinary skills.
Stock Management & Ordering:
Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and ensuring that all ingredients are stored correctly according to food safety guidelines.
Notify the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef about stock shortages or inventory requirements.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management Or Equivalent Degree
Minimum 6 months to one year of experience
