A reputable hotel in Al-Rayyan is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join our team. As the Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping staff to ensure a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department including scheduling, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are kept clean and well-maintained according to hotel standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and address any issues immediately.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or needs from guests.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency of the housekeeping department.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all employees by adhering to safety regulations and providing proper training.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role within a hotel housekeeping department.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures and techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays if needed.
Salary
Starting salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
Location
This position is located in Al-Rayyan, Qatar.
Preference
Preference will be given to Indian candidates.
