As a Housekeeping Attendant at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, you will play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests. You will ensure guest rooms and public areas meet Marriott’s high standards of cleanliness, helping deliver an exceptional stay for every visitor.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas according to hotel standards.
Replace bed linens, towels, and guest amenities while ensuring rooms are fully stocked.
Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and readiness before guest arrival.
Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for extra towels, amenities, or housekeeping services.
Handle lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
Operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and efficiently.
Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
Follow hotel health, hygiene, and safety policies while providing friendly and courteous service to guests.
Work closely with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are available on time and meet quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage but not always required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Pay: From QAR3,500.00 per month
