Role Description
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the Cheeky Monkeys store. This role ensures that all areas are clean, hygienic, and safe for children, families, and staff. Duties include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; dusting countertops, ceilings, fixtures, and furniture; and thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, pantry/kitchen areas, play zones, and other store facilities. The Housekeeping Attendant must adhere to company hygiene standards and safety procedures at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Cleanliness & Hygiene
- Maintains the cleanliness and hygiene of all guest areas, play zones, restrooms, and staff areas.
- Performs daily cleaning tasks according to SOPs and scheduled routines
- Ensures proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow hygiene and safety protocols strictly.
2) Safety & Maintenance
- Monitors and reports maintenance issues, damages, or hazards in the facility
3) Event & Operations Support
- Supports event and party setups by ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of assigned areas
- Demonstrates teamwork by assisting colleagues with parties, camps, events, and other operations-related tasks
- Support the store team during high-traffic periods and special events.
4) Professionalism & Work Ethic
- Maintains professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude while on duty.
- Maintain a professional appearance and personal hygiene in line with company standards.
- Comply with HR policies, attendance, leave management, and the company’s code of conduct.
- Demonstrate respect, teamwork, effective communication, and professionalism at all times.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and maintain the highest ethical standards.
5) Operational Excellence
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all operational tasks, performing duties efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when stock is low.
- Assist other departments as required, ensuring smooth operations.
6) Reliability & Accountability
- Be punctual and reliable, completing assigned tasks efficiently and consistently.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to achieve operational goals.
8) Customer Service & Team Management
- Provide courteous, responsive, and helpful service to guests and colleagues.
- Communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively with guests, team members, and management.
Educational Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Secondary/High school qualification is mandatory.
- Basic schooling (Grade 10 or equivalent)
- 6 months – 1 year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning services
- Knowledge of cleaning standards, hygiene, and safety procedures
- UAE experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 – AED2,800.00 per month
