Role Description The House Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Qatar, supporting the daily operations of PLATINUM HOME AND HEALTH CARE COMPANY. The House Driver will be responsible for safely transporting staff, patients, and family members as needed, following assigned schedules and routes. Daily tasks include maintaining vehicle cleanliness, conducting basic safety checks, and ensuring all trips are completed on time. The role also involves handling errands, such as picking up supplies or documents, assisting with loading and unloading, and providing courteous, professional interaction with all passengers. The House Driver will adhere to company policies, traffic laws, and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Qatar driving license appropriate for light vehicles, with a strong record of safe and responsible driving.
- Knowledge of local roads in Doha and surrounding areas, including traffic regulations and common routes.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tires, lights) and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous attitude toward patients, families, and staff.
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to follow schedules and work flexible hours as needed.
- Basic English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic or other languages commonly spoken in Qatar is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a house driver, personal driver, or driver in a healthcare or service environment is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy in accordance with company guidelines.
