Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operator – Hot Stamping & Numbering to join our Security Printing Production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining hot stamping and numbering machines to produce high-security printed products that meet strict quality, security, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor hot stamping and numbering machines to ensure efficient production.
- Perform machine adjustments and changeovers according to production requirements.
- Ensure accurate foil stamping, sequential numbering, and product registration in accordance with approved specifications.
- Monitor production quality throughout the manufacturing process and perform routine quality checks.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with the Production Supervisor to achieve daily production targets and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and material usage reports.
- Ensure compliance with security printing procedures, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Train and support junior operators on machine operation and best practices.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure proper handling of security-sensitive materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical/vocational qualification in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating hot stamping and numbering machines, preferably in a security printing or commercial printing environment.
- Strong knowledge of hot foil stamping, numbering systems, and print finishing processes.
- Ability to perform machine setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Good understanding of production quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Ability to read production orders and technical specifications.
- Good communication skills in English.
