We are looking for a friendly, well-presented, and professional Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and memorable experience. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth service flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude upon arrival.
- Manage the waitlist and reservations using a seating chart or booking software.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Communicate wait times and accommodate special requests when possible.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating and service flow.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries courteously and professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the front-of-house area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly, escalating to management as needed.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks and support team operations when necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a hostess or in a customer-facing role is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is an advantage.
