Job Description
Identify and pursue potential hospitality business development opportunities and successful strategic partnerships and manage all correlated activities (e.g., market scanning, partnership negotiations, stakeholder management, etc.) in order to grow Soudah Development’s hospitality portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Hospitality Development
- Develop the hospitality strategy in alignment with Soudah Development’s strategic objectives and organizational vision and mission.
- Identify and recommend hospitality brands and hotel class mix that aligns with Soudah Development’s market positioning and desired image.
- Prepare and compile data and analyses for identified hospitality opportunities, including market assessment, surveys, and financial feasibility.
- Perform business modelling activities by evaluating new hospitality opportunities in terms of cost, revenues, and value proposition, and by analyzing business cases and scenarios.
- Execute approved hospitality business development opportunities in coordination with relevant departments, and coordinate with other functions (e.g., Real Estate Development) to ensure that investment leads are properly captured, and that prospective investors receive all necessary information required to proceed with investments. Partnership Management
- Ensure the recommendation and establishment of partnerships and agreements with hotel operators ensuring it achieves desired profitability and destination growth results.
- Manage proper implementation of Hospitality partnership management policies, processes, procedures, and systems, ensuring that concerned stakeholders adhere to them.
- Propose partnership structures that align with Soudah Development’s strategic objectives to be approved by senior management for revision and approval.
- Manage the effective coordination of pre-partnership hospitality engagements and discussions with operators, including the preparation/organization of investment documents, roadshows, partnership discussions, and partnership assessments.
- Build strong relationships with hospitality partners to pursue potential business investments and successful strategic partnerships that will contribute to Soudah Development’s development.
- Maintain business relationships with local and international organizations, social agencies, and governmental entities/authorities to promote Soudah Development and exchange relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or any other related field
- Master’s degree Finance or any related field or MBA is preferred
