Hospital Management Information System Analyst Jobs in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia at Oil Support Services
To analyze, develop, implement, and maintain Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) to support clinical, administrative, and operational functions within the Medical Services Department. The role ensures the effective utilization of HMIS to enhance patient care, streamline workflows, and improve data accuracy and security.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Follow all relevant section policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Carry out daily responsibilities in accordance with established procedures and standards.
System Analysis & Design
- Analyze departmental requirements and translate them into system specifications.
- Design workflows and system configurations to meet operational needs.
Application Development & Customization
- Develop, customize, and upgrade Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) and related modules in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Implementation & Integration
- Coordinate the deployment of HMIS solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing hospital systems and infrastructure.
Data Management & Security
- Oversee data collection, entry, validation, and reporting processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
User Support & Training
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to end users.
- Optimize system utilization and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
System Maintenance & Upgrades
- Monitor system performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance activities.
- Implement system updates and security patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user manuals.
- Generate reports for management review and decision-making.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve operational processes through system enhancements.
Safety, Health & Environment
- Comply with all relevant safety, health, and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties that may reasonably be expected and that form part of the responsibilities of the position.
