Horticulturist Jobs in Dubai at MOMA International Design
We are looking for a talented and experienced Horticulturist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting landscape projects through expert plant selection, horticultural planning, site coordination, and technical input to ensure healthy, sustainable, and visually outstanding landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop planting strategies and horticultural specifications for landscape projects.
- Select suitable plant species based on climate, soil conditions, and project requirements.
- Prepare planting plans, plant schedules, and technical reports.
- Conduct site inspections and provide horticultural recommendations during project execution.
- Monitor plant health and recommend appropriate maintenance and irrigation practices.
- Coordinate with landscape architects, irrigation engineers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Review project drawings and ensure compliance with design intent and horticultural standards.
- Support project teams throughout design, construction, and handover stages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in horticulture, preferably within landscape design or construction projects.
- Strong project experience in hospitality, residential, commercial, public realm, or mixed-use developments.
- Excellent knowledge of plant species suitable for the GCC/UAE climate.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other relevant horticultural or landscape software.
- Ability to interpret landscape and irrigation drawings.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: AED2,324.11 – AED13,330.06 per month
