Job Overview:
Support the Superintendent, Supervisors, and Engineering team in leading the delivery of the offshore HUC scope of work. Coordinate with McDermott and the Client Team to execute the scope and streamline interfaces between disciplines. Act as the project offshore PMT reference point, ensuring alignment between the construction team and PMT regarding scope deviations and progress. Contribute to implementing the best solutions and methods to optimize progress, meet targets, and ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining safety and quality standards as per company procedures.
Key
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Drive a multidisciplinary team of field engineers.
Lead interfaces with PMT and Superintendent.
Coordinate with HSE and Quality teams.
Provide direction and make decisions to ensure project delivery.
Oversee vessels used, including jack-ups, workboats, and supporting vessels.
Ensure readiness prior to offshore HUC campaigns, including materials, equipment, tools, and labor.
Review and contribute to execution plans and strategies.
Review and approve job cards and schedules; provide inputs as needed.
Control daily progress reports.
Implement measures for improvement and recovery planning when necessary.
Build and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate offshore with other functions such as Marine, HSE, and Quality, as well as client teams.
Create awareness among team members to meet project objectives.
Set standards for behavior and culture offshore.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ offshore experience.
Technical background.
Previous offshore HUC project execution experience.
Strong leadership skills and experience.
Computer literacy and familiarity with standard office applications.
Experience leading a multinational workforce.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to offshore commissioning.
