Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Homeroom Teacher role based in Doha, Qatar. The Homeroom Teacher will plan and deliver daily lessons in core subjects, aligning with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. Responsibilities include creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment, monitoring student progress, and providing regular feedback to learners and families. The role involves preparing and organizing instructional materials, assessing student work, maintaining accurate records, and supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development. The Homeroom Teacher will also participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events, and collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support whole-school initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience managing a homeroom or primary classroom.
  • Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing engaging, age-appropriate learning activities and assessments.
  • Excellent Communication skills for interacting effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Experience in Training or mentoring students in study skills, classroom routines, and positive behaviors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification or licensure preferred.
  • Experience working in an international or multicultural school setting is an advantage.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive, student-centered classroom that supports diverse learning needs.
  • Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
