Home Automation Engineer Jobs in Sharjah at Al Qudra Contracting
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and integrate smart home systems (lighting, HVAC, audio/video, security, and access control).
- Read and interpret electrical/engineering blueprints and technical specifications.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot automation hardware, smart devices, and home networks (KNX, Control4, Crestron, Zigbee, Z-Wave, etc.).
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and quality assurance prior to client handover.
- Provide technical support and end-user training to clients.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in smart home automation and AV integration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with major automation platforms (e.g., Control4, KNX, Crestron, Lutron) and smart protocols.
- Networking: Solid understanding of IP networking, Wi-Fi optimization, and VLAN configurations.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer service orientation.
