Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist (Band 7 Equivalent) Jobs in Doha at Little Academy Nursery
Mind Institute is seeking an experienced Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team in Doha.
This is a senior clinical role for a therapist with substantial experience managing complex speech, language and communication needs across different age groups. The successful candidate will manage a specialist caseload, contribute to multidisciplinary care, and support clinical supervision, service development and evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide highly specialist assessment and evidence-based intervention for complex speech, language and communication needs.
- Manage and prioritise a complex clinical caseload independently.
- Develop and review individualised treatment and management plans.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to less experienced therapists.
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, staff training and service development.
- Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and professional practice.
Requirements
- Significant post-qualification experience at Highly Specialist / Band 7 or equivalent senior specialist level.
- Strong experience in autism, neurodevelopmental conditions and complex communication needs.
- Experience supervising or mentoring other therapists.
- Experience in paediatric feeding and/or swallowing assessment and intervention would be an advantage.
- Current professional registration/licensure and eligibility for registration in Qatar.
- Recognised professional qualification in Speech & Language Therapy / Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong clinical reasoning and multidisciplinary working skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based, person-centred practice and continuing professional development.
Pay: QAR7,000.00 – QAR20,000.00 per month
