Envertiz Professional Services is hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic on behalf of our partner, a leading Precast Concrete & Manufacturing company in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. If you have strong hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, repair & maintain heavy equipment used in precast concrete production
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical faults using diagnostic tools
- Maintain and repair mobile cranes, overhead cranes, forklifts, wheel loaders, excavators, generators, air compressors, trailers & heavy trucks
- Conduct pre- and post-repair equipment inspections for safe and efficient operation
- Coordinate with Production & Maintenance teams to minimise equipment downtime
Experience:
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, preferably in a precast concrete, concrete products, construction, or manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and transmission systems.
- Hands-on experience maintaining concrete batching plants, forklifts, mobile cranes, overhead cranes, wheel loaders, excavators, generators, air compressors, trailers, and heavy trucks.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices and workplace safety procedures.
- UAE driving licence will be an added advantage
