Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Van Salesman to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a company van, selling products directly to customers, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a company van to designated routes and locations.
Sell products directly to customers, ensuring sales targets are met.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Manage stock levels, restock van inventory, and ensure proper product display.
Process customer payments and maintain accurate sales records.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to improve sales strategies.
Provide feedback on customer needs and preferences.
Maintain the van in clean and roadworthy condition.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or distribution.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Basic knowledge of inventory management.
Physically fit to load and unload goods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in van sales or route sales.
Knowledge of the local market and routes.
