As we continue to expand in Qatar, we are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Accountant to join our finance team in Mesaieed.
Position Overview
The Healthcare Accountant will be responsible for managing financial processes related to healthcare operations, including billing, revenue tracking, cost control, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial reporting while supporting efficient and transparent healthcare financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage healthcare billing, invoicing, and revenue cycle accounting
- Track and reconcile patient billing, insurance claims, and payments
- Ensure accurate recording of medical service revenues and expenses
- Prepare monthly financial reports and healthcare-specific statements
- Monitor cost allocation across healthcare operations and services
- Support budgeting and forecasting for healthcare-related activities
- Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and accounting standards
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with administrative and operational teams on financial matters
- Support audits by providing required healthcare financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in healthcare accounting or related finance roles
- Strong understanding of healthcare billing systems and revenue cycle processes
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple financial workflows under deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards is an advantage
