Your new role, what’s involved?
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated HSE Inspector, who is a Saudi National, with a background in civil engineering and expertise in managing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs for infrastructure projects. The HSE Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety, and mitigating risks associated with project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections and audits of work sites, facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential health and safety hazards.
Assess risks associated with identified hazards and prioritize corrective actions based on the severity of risks.
Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations, codes, and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs to promote asafe working environmentand prevent accidents and injuries.
Provide training andeducationto employees on health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Facilitate safety committee meetings and collaborate with employees and management to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of employees during emergencies.
Promote a culture ofsafety awarenessand accountability among employees throughcommunication,recognition programs, and incentives.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, incidents, corrective actions, and training activities. Prepare reports and recommendations for management and regulatory agencies as required.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Saudi Nationality required.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), or other relevant certifications preferred.
Minimum of [7+] years of experience in occupational health and safety, with experience in conducting inspections and audits.
Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations, codes, and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in ateam environment.
