Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead safety training sessions for employees and monitor adherence to safety guidelines.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
- Advise management on safety improvements and implement safety programs.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, certifications, and compliance audits.
- Stay updated on industry safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of total experience including 10 years as a safety engineer.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and accident investigation.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Certification in safety management or health & safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Must be residing in Qatar with a valid QID and NOC.
