About the Role
As an HSE Coordinator, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the project's HSE Management System by coordinating HSE documentation, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements, monitoring HSE performance, supporting audits and incident investigations, and promoting a proactive safety culture across all project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HSE documentation, including HSE Plans, Procedures, Risk Assessments (RA), JSAs, and Method Statements.
- Monitor compliance with company, client, and regulatory HSE requirements through inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Manage HSE records, NCRs, SORs, incident investigations, reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Coordinate HSE meetings, training, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and awareness programs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE within construction, infrastructure, or civil projects.
- Strong experience in preparing HSE documentation, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and compliance reports.
- Solid knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations, client requirements, and international best practices.
- Experience managing NCRs, corrective actions, inspections, audits, and HSE reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Power BI for HSE dashboards and KPI reporting is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
