Role Description
Responsible for health, safety, and environmental management during the construction of a new Dubai Airport project, focusing on earthworks excavation, foundation construction, heavy machinery operations, and other general construction activities. Ensure site compliance with UAE general safety standards, Dubai Municipality / Civil Aviation construction safety regulations, and HSE requirements of the Main Contractor and End Client.

- Hiring and final site mobilization for this role are contingent on both resume approval and a successful interview with the End Client (or their representative).
- Candidates without the Client’s written approval will not be permitted to work on site.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise safe operations in earthworks, foundation, and related activities, with special focus on:
- Deep excavations and slope stability
- Heavy machinery operation safety (excavators, cranes, loaders, dump trucks)
- Temporary electrical works and hot work
- Site traffic management and personnel access
- Dust control, noise mitigation, and other environmental measures
- Organize daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) and safety briefings
- Perform daily safety inspections, identify hazards, and follow up on corrective actions
- Maintain safety records (hazard logs, training records, equipment checklists, etc.) and assist in preparing weekly/monthly HSE reports for the Main Contractor and Client
- Manage PPE issuance, usage, and maintenance
- Participate in incident / near-miss investigations and prepare investigation reports
- Coordinate with Main Contractor and Client HSE teams to implement all safety directives
- Assist new workers with airport site access procedures (e.g., airport pass application, induction safety training)
Requirements
- Valid NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification
- Minimum 5 years of safety management experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on site safety experience in UAE construction
- Dubai large-scale project (airport, municipal, infrastructure) HSE experience preferred – familiar with airport construction site access and safety control procedures
- Familiar with UAE general construction safety standards (e.g., OHSMS, Dubai Municipality safety guidelines)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – able to communicate directly with Main Contractor and Client
- Fit for outdoor construction environment; immediate joiner preferred
- Must complete airport site access / induction procedures after onboarding (company will assist)
