Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Waiter (captain) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Head Waiter will oversee the dining experience for guests and lead the waitstaff team to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise waitstaff to ensure efficient, high-quality service
Train and mentor new staff on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards
Create a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and strong work ethics
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area for guest comfort
Greet, seat, and assist guests with menu recommendations
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverage orders
Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service, communicating special requests or dietary restrictions
Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring stock levels and placing orders as needed
Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment
Assist with special events and private dining reservations as needed
Qualifications:
Experience as a Head Waiter or captain in a high-end restaurant
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairing and menu recommendations
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Proficiency in English;
Arabic language skills are a plus
