Head of Workplace
The Head of Workplace will oversee all aspects of Qiddiya’s workplace planning and management, encompassing strategy, asset management, property, and facilities management.
This role involves acting as the QIC Client Representative, championing organisational needs and developing a Client Brief to inform the development of the Qiddiya Office Campus. The Head of Workplace will lead the development of a Workplace Strategy and Client Brief for the Qiddiya Office Campus, while assisting the organisation in managing its interim office solutions until the newpurpose-built campus is operational.
The corporate QIC property and facilities management function will fall under the purview of this role, with the facilities management team reporting directly to the Head of Workplace.
In essence, the Head of Workplace will be instrumental in driving the creation and management of workplace environments that foster productivity,innovation, andcollaboration, ensuring these spaces align with QIC business objectives and the evolving needs of QIC’s workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace Strategy:Develop and implement a comprehensive workplace strategy that addresses both interim business needs and long-term goals, including creating a Client Brief for the Qiddiya Office Campus.
Collaboration with HR and Business Units:Work closely with HR, Corporate Functions, and Business Unit leads to ensure the workplace strategy aligns with QIC workforce planning and headcount projections to support business growth over time.
Workplace Committee:As a member of the Workplace Committee, set, implement, and govern QIC workplace strategies.
Workplace Solutions:Manage short-term business office leasing strategy and readiness of interim office spaces, ensuring they meet operational, quality, and compliance standards while adhering to timelines and budgets.
Operational Management:Lead the Property and Corporate Facilities Management team to oversee day-to-day workplace operations, ensuring seamless integration of workplace solutions, maintaining high standards of functionality, employee experience, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Stakeholder Management:Act as the central point of contact for workplace-related matters, working closely with HR, facilities management, CDU, Office BU Lead, and individual project teams.
Sustainability Initiatives:Promotesustainability initiativeswithin the workplace in line with the company ESG policy, including energy efficiency programs, waste reduction and recycling, water conservation, and Green building initiatives.
Relationship Building:Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Workplace Committee Members, Management Committee Members, Business Unit Leads, etc.
Employee Feedback:Work closely with the HR team to collect and incorporateemployee feedbackto continuously refine and improve QIC workspace strategy and requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
At least 15 years of experience in workspace strategy and corporate facilities management, including global multi-site projects, with at least 5 years in aleadershiprole.
Proven success in leading large-scale workspace transformation projects with a focus on employee experience.
