Head of Sales Marketing Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Co.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the department.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Sales Management:
Oversee all sales activities across distribution channels (direct, brokers, digital, bancassurance, etc.).
Set clear performance targets and KPIs for the sales team.
Drive new business development and customer acquisition initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Marketing Oversight:
Develop and manage brand positioning, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
Oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and social media.
Collaborate with product teams to develop and launch new insurance products.
Team Leadership:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team.
Conduct regular training and performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and innovation.
Reporting & Analysis:
Analyze sales performance data and marketing metrics to inform decisions.
Provide regular updates to senior management and the board.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 in a leadership role in the insurance or financial services sector.
Strong understanding of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory environment.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful marketing campaigns.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools.
