About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Head of Revenue to lead our merchant revenue strategy and accelerate growth across Qatar and the GCC.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a payments/BNPL commercial operator with proven
experience acquiring merchants, building strategic partnerships and delivering profitable GMV growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own merchant revenue strategy, targets, forecasting and commercial performance.
- Lead merchant acquisition, segmentation, negotiation and activation.
- Own MDR pricing, commercial terms and deal-level unit economics.
- Build and manage the merchant pipeline, CRM and revenue reporting.
- Coordinate merchant onboarding, integrations and activation.
- Drive merchant retention, repeat GMV and revenue growth.
- Build and lead the Sales, Partnerships and Merchant Success teams.
- Work closely with Finance, Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Marketing to ensure sustainable and compliant growth.
Requirements
- 8–14 years of experience in payments, acquiring, PSP or BNPL.
- Proven track record of personally signing and activating merchants;
- Experience carrying commercial targets and leading a team.
- Strong Arabic and English communication skills.
- Proven experience in partner-led distribution.
- Strong understanding of MDR, settlements, chargebacks, pricing, margins, churn and payment integrations.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding of GMV, contribution margin, CAC, losses and working capital.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment where products and processes are still being built.

- Signed, activated and transacting merchants.
- GMV, net revenue and contribution margin against plan.
- Strong merchant retention and repeat GMV.
- Healthy pipeline and accurate forecasting.
- Successful partner-led merchant activation.
- Sustainable growth within regulatory, risk and compliance requirements.
