Head of Public Sector Sales Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Vodafone
Job Description
To lead the Vodafone Public Enterprise Qatar Sales Channels. The incumbent is accountable for overall leadership, development and revenue/margin for all Public Enterprise Accounts operating in Qatar. The key objectives are to optimise acquisition and revenue growth across voice, data, managed mobility services and total communications solutions. The role is responsible for the achievement of revenue/margin targets and customer satisfaction are primary deliverable.
Responsibilities
Manage the enterprise public sector sales strategy across corporate customers, balancing customer-centric marketing, and product marketing to achieve target customer successes.
Ownership of VBS Public sales strategy vision, creation & execution in Qatar and shared responsibility for Enterprise strategy creation & achievement.
Lead on specific projects, gaining support from peers & colleagues within Vodafone Qatar. Proactively create & use industry networks to drive thought leadership & define best practice models & drivers for change.
Create positive industry relationships that will benefit Vodafone’s commercial position (internal & external).
Lead the talent development initiatives for the assigned section, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements.
Manage the preparation and recommend the sectional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectional activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.
Manage and ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures, and controls covering all areas of assigned sectional activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
Ensure that all sectional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Vodafone Qatar’s requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by the EBU Director.
Manage and ensure through orchestrated integrated public sector sales vertical to support the Enterprise division to manage and improve sales, customer engagements, demand generation, perception management relationships and satisfaction.
Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the assigned section by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff to maximize sectional performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or a relevant discipline from a reputable university, Master’s degree in Business Administration is highly preferred.
12 years of relevant experience in similar roles in Telco operators/Technology industries, FMCG and/or Professional Services, of which 5+ years of experience in Sales and Leadership role and experience of unified communications and fixed telecommunications.
Proven track record of successful sales leadership and delivery against targets over the last 5 years with established sales methodology of leading and managing sales teams through transformational change from product to solutions.
Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrix organisation where targets are successfully held and deliver at local levels.
No specific Industry experience required. Experience in sales and local market is mandatory.
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Strategic leadership and team management.
Strong conflict management, facilitation, and resolution skills.
Qatari candidates preferred.
