Head of Procurement Department (Auto Parts) Jobs in Dubai at APM Group
We are looking for a strong, experienced, and multitasking Head of Procurement with mandatory experience in auto parts procurement. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
What we expect from the candidate:
✔ Deep understanding of the auto parts market – knowledge of suppliers, supply chains, logistics, and industry-specific procurement processes.
✔ Proven experience in auto parts procurement – strategic planning, supplier management, and efficient procurement processes.
✔ Strong negotiation skills at a high level – representing the company’s interests, contract negotiations, and building long-term partnerships with suppliers.
✔ Team management and organization – ability to recruit, train, and motivate employees, delegate tasks, and oversee process execution.
✔ Integrity and responsibility – full awareness of financial operations, procurement processes, and team leadership.
✔ Multitasking and stress resistance – procurement in the auto parts industry requires speed, quick decision-making, and adaptability.
✔ Operational management skills – understanding all department processes, down to the operators’ tasks.
✔ Analytical mindset and strategic thinking – demand forecasting, procurement optimization, and cost control.
✔ Advanced Excel skills – ability to work with spreadsheets, analyze data, use formulas and macros.
✔ Own vehicle is required – the office is located near DXB Airport, and having personal transportation is necessary.
