The Head of Operations STP & Automation will lead Operations journey towards becoming a more agile, efficient, and data-driven organization.
The role will be pivotal in designing and implementing transformative strategies that align with the company’s goals of enhancing customer experience, optimizing processes, and embracing digital solutions.
Role & Responsibilities:-
Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of Straight-Through Processing (STP) solutions across various business processes to ensure seamless automation and enhanced data flow.
Analyze existing business processes, identify opportunities for automation, and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Work collaboratively with IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors to design, implement, and scale STP solutions.
Ensure that the automation solutions are compliant with regulatory requirements and align with the company’s overall strategy.
Evaluate and select automation tools, platforms, and technologies, and oversee their integration into existing systems.
Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials for new automation workflows.
Monitor and track the performance of automation systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement continuous process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and automation best practices.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams to foster adoption and improve understanding of STP and automation processes.
Provide expertise in process mapping, data analysis, and process re-engineering to ensure a successful transformation.
Assist in budgeting, resource allocation, and project management for automation and STP initiatives.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of transformation professionals. Foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation and results.
Change Management: Design and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational structures.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (Group and Country EXCO, department heads, external partners) and communicate transformation progress, challenges, and outcomes
Skills and Experience required:-
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Certification in Change Management or Project Management.
15-20 years of relevant work experience
Financial Services & Transformation experience
Proven experience in STP solutions and automation transformation in a fast-paced environment, preferably in Financial Services.
Strong knowledge of process automation tools (e.g., RPA, AI, workflow automation software).
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address inefficiencies.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
The job holder will be an experienced professional with outstanding leadership capabilities.
Should possess understanding of best practices in the IT and Digital and Business Process Outsourcing space.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to translate business requirements into an execution framework
Commercial acumen, an enquiring mind and an understanding of the market and financial dynamics.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly to the various levels of the organization.
