Eden Rose is currently engaged with a financial institution within Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) who are seeking a Head of Operations to be responsible for end-to-end custody operations.
Reporting to the General Manager, the day-to-day management will involve trade settlement, asset servicing and safekeeping of digital securities for a diverse portfolio of sovereign companies, institutions and professional clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- The day-to-day management will involve trade settlement, asset servicing and safekeeping of digital securities for a diverse portfolio of sovereign companies, institutions and professional clients.
- Provide leadership and management to ensure proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures
- Ensure effective team and systems are in place to effectively manage the custody operations.
- Develop and execute the operational strategy aligned with the growth targets
- Lead automation and digitization efforts to introduce new products
- Ensure adherence to local and global regulatory requirements
- Oversee end-to-end management of private keys using MPC, HSMs, and cold-storage protocols,
- Design and maintain the framework for wallet management
- Manage atomic settlements and delivery-versus-payment (DvP) processes.
- Lead the operational support for digital securities on-chain, including automated corporate actions via smart contracts.
The Head of Operations will hold a Bachelors' Degree in a relevant discipline, and have 8 -10 years’ expertise in custody operations in a global bank or CSD, of which 5 years in a senior managerial role. You will have an in-depth understanding of global clearing and settlement, custody operations, corporate action processing and asset servicing. Thorough knowledge of clearing, settlement and custody operations across asset classes. You will have a sound understanding of financial markets and products, exchange operations and global regulatory requirements.
