Head of Operations – Transport and Hospitality Business
Responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the transport business, ensuring safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of transportation services. The role involves managing fleet operations, drivers, logistics, maintenance, customer service, and operational performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable transport regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing overall transport and fleet operations to achieve operational and financial targets.
- Planning and optimizing routes, schedules, fleet utilization, and resource allocation.
- Leading and supervising drivers, operations staff, and support teams.
- Monitoring vehicle availability, maintenance, fuel consumption, and operating costs.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, transport regulations, and company procedures.
- Implementing operational processes and KPIs to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
- Managing relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, and other business partners.
- Identifying operational risks and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Preparing operational reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior management.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, minimize downtime, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport, fleet, logistics, or operations management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of fleet management, transportation operations, and safety procedures.
- Ability to manage teams and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driving license is an Mandatory
- Male preferred.
Language–Hindi/Urdu , English mandatory and Arabic would be an advantage.
