Role Description
The Head of Information Technology is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in the United Arab Emirates, responsible for overseeing all IT functions across the organization. This role involves defining and executing the IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, and leading digital transformation efforts. The Head of IT will manage day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, networks, cybersecurity, and support services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring the IT team, managing vendors and service providers, and overseeing IT budgets, governance, and compliance. The role also involves evaluating and implementing new technologies, standardizing systems across regions, and collaborating with senior leadership to support business expansion and innovation.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Information Technology, with the ability to oversee enterprise-wide systems, applications, and security.
- Proven experience in IT Management and IT Operations, including team leadership, service delivery, and vendor management.
- Demonstrated capability in IT Strategy and aligning technology roadmaps with business goals across multiple regions.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure design, implementation, and optimization (networks, servers, cloud, and security).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, TOGAF) is an advantage.
- Experience in a multi-country or group-level organization, ideally within investment, conglomerate, or diversified business environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership.
- Proven track record in leading digital transformation, process improvement, and technology-driven innovation.
Pay: AED7,000.00 – AED20,000.00 per month
