Role Description:
The Head of Human Resources is responsible for leading the HR function by developing and executing strategies that align with the company’s vision, culture, and business objectives. This role oversees all HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, compliance, and organizational development. The Head of HR acts as a strategic partner to senior leadership and plays a key role in shaping a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Lead the design and execution of talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning programs.
Build a strong employer brand and implement employee engagement and recognition programs.
Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
Design and manage compensation structures and benefits programs that support internal equity and market competitiveness.
Lead learning and development initiatives including leadership programs, training plans, and succession planning.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable labor laws and HR policies.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR matters, including organizational design and change management.
Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and ethical behavior.
Lead HR digital transformation initiatives and oversee the effective use of HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, etc.).
Monitor and report on HR metrics and analytics to drive data-based decision-making.
Manage and develop the HR team, ensuring continuous professional growth and high levels of service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree or MBA in HR or Organizational Development (preferred)
Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, CIPD, or SPHR are highly desirable
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Experience in leading HR functions in mid to large-sized organizations, preferably across multiple business units or geographies
Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and change management principles
Proven track record in strategic HR planning, leadership development, and HR operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday)
