A newly established banking institution based in South Asia is seeking an accomplished finance professional to join its senior leadership team as Head of Finance.
Position Overview
The Head of Finance will provide strategic leadership across the Bank’s finance, treasury, capital management and financial governance functions. The role carries responsibility for safeguarding the Bank’s financial integrity and long-term sustainability while ensuring compliance with applicable banking regulations, statutory requirements and international accounting standards.
This is a senior leadership appointment with direct exposure to the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the Bank’s financial strategy and advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, financial planning and key financial risks.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, treasury, capital planning and regulatory financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, applicable banking regulations and statutory obligations.
• Manage liquidity, capital adequacy and financial risk exposures.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, governance frameworks and financial reporting systems.
• Support strategic decision-making through robust financial analysis, forecasting and management information.
• Lead, develop and retain a high-performing finance team.
• Maintain effective engagement with regulators, auditors and other key external stakeholders.
