At QIC, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Distribution- Agency to build and lead our direct distribution BDM channel.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone passionate about scaling teams, driving growth, and building a strong agency BDM network from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and expansion of the Agency channel for QIC UAE
* Recruit, train, and manage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs)
* Drive direct business sourcing from the market through the agency BDM team
* Set performance targets and ensure consistent delivery against business goals
* Build a high-performance, sales-driven culture within the team
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align distribution strategies
* Work closely with the underwriting and operations team
* Drive the retail and digital product sales through the BDMs
Who We’re Looking For
* 10+ years of relevant experience in insurance distribution preferably in UAE market
* Proven track record in managing direct sales BDM teams within an insurance company or brokerage
* Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
* Deep understanding of the UAE insurance market
* Ability to drive performance and deliver sustainable growth & Bottom line
* Graduate or Postgraduate degree (preferred)
* UAE driving license is must as this is a sales function
